Sessions run every Tuesday during term-time at 4.30-5.30pm.

Dates follow the standard UK academic calendar with breaks during school holidays.

Every Tuesday session covers a focused area of 11+ English including story structure, creative writing technique, comprehension skills, vocabulary, grammar, and exam technique. Children leave each session with practical strategies they can apply immediately in their exam.

How Payment Works:

Today: Pay a £70 deposit to secure your child's place. This covers your first 2 sessions at £35 each.

September 2026: You will be contacted to pay the remaining £55 balance to complete your first month before the course begins.

October 2026 onwards: A monthly subscription of £125 is charged automatically each month covering the remaining sessions.

FAQ

  • Do I need to attend with my child?

    You may need to help your child join the Zoom session at the beginning. Once they are settled, students work independently, helping them build confidence and enjoy the learning experience.

  • Will resources be provided for the lessons?

    Yes. A printable resource pack is provided in advance of each session so parents can print it for their child to use during the lesson. These resources are designed to support active participation and help children engage fully with the teaching. These are uploaded under each section (lesson).

  • What happens if my child misses a session?

    If your child is unable to attend a live session, a recording will be available on this platform, so they can catch up in their own time. This means they won’t miss out on the learning.

  • What age or level is this club suitable for?

    The 11+ English Club is ideal for children preparing for the 11+, typically in Years 4–5. The sessions are carefully structured to support a range of abilities, helping children build confidence as well as challenge stronger learners.

  • How long are the sessions and what is the weekly commitment?

    Each live session lasts an hour. Any optional follow-up activities are designed to be manageable, so they fit easily around school and homework.
