Hi, I'm Alima.

I’m a qualified teacher and 11+ English specialist with over a decade of experience in London prep and state schools.

I help children build strong English skills, vocabulary, and confidence for the 11+ exams through supportive, structured teaching.

I founded Bright Minds Club to make 11+ preparation clearer, calmer, and more effective for both children and parents.

Ways of Working With Me

  • 11+ Summer Revision Club
    Mon 20th July - Mon 24th August 2026

    This intensive 6-session course is designed to give Year 5 children a confident and well-prepared start to their 11+ exam season.

    With exams fast approaching this autumn, summer is the perfect time to consolidate English skills, fill any gaps, and build the exam technique needed to perform under pressure.

  • Year 5 11+ English Club
    (Tuesdays from Sept 2026 - July 2027)

    Starting in September 2026

    Tuesdays (term-time) at 6.15-7.15pm. Full session dates are provided upon enrolment.

    Secure your child's place for September 2026.

  • 11+ Vocab Booster Club
    Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays

    Children will develop deeper word knowledge, learn how to use ambitious vocabulary accurately and grow in confidence through clear, engaging 30-minute lessons.

    You have the option of joining either every Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

    - Monday at 6pm-6.30pm

    - Tuesday at 5.30pm-6pm

    - Wednesdays at 5pm-5.30pm

    Sessions during school holidays take place at 9am-9.30am.
